Lee Hardy

President

Lee Hardy began his 25-year career in the construction industry serving 13 years as Vice President at Hardy’s Inc. and was the fourth generation to work within the family-owned general contracting business, which employed more than 100 people. After Hardy’s underwent a merger acquisition with another local contractor, Lee remained for a five-year contract to support the estimating and project management divisions as a manager and consultant.

In 2007, Lee became part owner of Phillips Hardy Inc. In his current role, Lee focuses on industry innovation and incorporating current best business practices into the company. He manages client relationships with the goal of customer satisfaction in mind. With an eye to the future, Lee evaluates new markets to ensure the company continues to experience industry growth and evolution.

Lance Simons

Controller

Lance Simons comes to Hardy Holding Group with over a decade of senior financial and accounting experience. He holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Accounting from Columbia College. He previously worked with a large real estate investment firm where he moved his way up through the ranks to hold the role of Controller. While with the investment firm, he was the recipient of the 2018 Bear Award in recognition of his significant contributions bringing about a positive financial impact on the company. Lance also held financial roles within both the banking and mortgage industries.

Jason Stastny

Operations Manager

Jason Stastny came to Hardy Holding Group with 20 years of construction industry knowledge and skills, having previously held the roles of Operations Manager, Area Manager of DOT Roadway Construction, and Superintendent/Foreman for Oldcastle Materials/APAC Missouri, Inc. Jason has extensive experience managing multi-million dollar projects in multiple states and across varying domains of heavy civil engineering. He holds various professional affiliations and certifications, and his work has been recognized with numerous MAPA and NAPA Quality in Construction Awards throughout his career.

Phillip Raines

Senior Estimator

Phillip Raines brings over 20 years of experience in highway construction to the Hardy Holding Group team with a track record of achieving exceptional results in both the estimating and project management areas of DOT highway construction. Phil began his career with the Missouri Department of Transportation, working initially as an Inspector and then as a Resident Engineer. Following this, he made the transition to the contractor side of highway construction, working for APAC-Missouri and then Pace Construction Co. in estimating and project management capacities. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri, and has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.

Jeff Stephens

Safety Manager

Jeff has worked in the heavy-civil, railroad, and oil/gas industries for more than 30 years balancing Safety, Quality, and Production. He specializes in heavy equipment, cranes, bridge fall protection, work zones, excavation, and CDL/DOT operations. He emphasizes an employee-driven safety culture and innovative safety solutions to protect each employee while remaining cost-effective. 

Christy Flood

HR Manager & EEO Officer

Christy Flood is a graduate of Columbia College with a BS in Business Administration and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She has over a decade of experience in the heavy-civil construction industry. Christy is responsible for leading the company’s recruitment efforts and HR practices as well serving as EEO Officer.
