Lee Hardy
President/CEO
Lee Hardy began his 25-year career in the construction industry serving 13 years as Vice President at Hardy’s Inc. and was the fourth generation to work within the family-owned general contracting business, which employed more than 100 people. After Hardy’s underwent a merger acquisition with another local contractor, Lee remained for a five-year contract to support the estimating and project management divisions as a manager and consultant.
In 2007, Hardy partnered with Wyatt & Kathy Phillips to evolve their company, Phillips Grading & Construction, into Phillips Hardy Inc. In 2022, after many years of a successful partnership, Hardy acquired the remaining shares of Phillips Hardy Inc. and went on to form Hardy Holding Group – the management company for Phillips Hardy Inc. and the newly formed Hardy Construction. Hardy continues to apply the passion and commitment that is rooted in the family histories of this company towards the evolution of Hardy Holding Group and its role in building heavy civil projects across the Midwest.
Sandy Cryderman
Controller
Sandy Cryderman comes to Hardy Holding Group with decades of senior financial and accounting experience. She holds Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Columbia College. Sandy’s 15+ year career includes extensive experience with financial reporting, audit preparation, tax management, and budgeting. With a focus on making quality and efficiency gains, she brings a wealth of knowledge in developing policies and procedures, implementing systems, and evaluating processes for flaws and recommending solutions.
Phillip Raines
Senior Estimator and Project Manager
Phillip Raines brings over 20 years of experience in highway construction to the Hardy Holding Group team with a track record of achieving exceptional results in both the estimating and project management areas of DOT highway construction. Phil began his career with the Missouri Department of Transportation, working initially as an Inspector and then as a Resident Engineer. Following this, he made the transition to the contractor side of highway construction, working for APAC-Missouri and then Pace Construction Co. in estimating and project management capacities. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri, and has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.
Clay Hollon
Safety Manager
Clay Hollon is an industry-veteran with over 20 years of experience. He launched his career working with equipment rental companies to gain invaluable knowledge of various industry-specific equipment as well as fleet/asset management systems. Through various roles, he perfected his training and team development skills which he later combined with industry-knowledge to evolve his career into safety management. As a key member of the Hardy Holding Group team, Clay emphasizes an employee-driven safety culture and innovative safety solutions to protect each employee, recognizing that no phase of operation or administration to be of greater importance than to provide a safe workplace and jobsite.
Christy Flood
HR Manager & EEO Officer
Christy Flood is a graduate of Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She has nearly 20 years of executive and adminsitrative experience with over half that span working in the heavy-civil construction industry. Christy is responsible for leading the company’s recruitment efforts and HR practices as well serving as EEO Officer.
